We now offer Underwater Treadmill sessions in our new Oasis Aqua Therapy Tank! This type of rehabilitation is so beneficial to so many pets with a range of injuries. The buoyancy of water decreases the amount of pressure and natural force on a given joint. For example, if a dog has a knee injury and we fill the treadmill water tank to the dog's hip level, we have eliminated 85% of his body weight making it easier to use his injured knee and maintain muscle mass and mobility that he wouldn't normally be able to maintain! This is a DRUG FREE option that fits in SO many rehab protocols! We also exercise many healthy dogs who need to build muscle or stamina for purposes such as competition, show, ect.

What Is Laser Therapy?

A surgery-free, drug-free, noninvasive treatment to:

  • Reduce pain
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Speed healing

Class IV deep tissue laser therapy uses a beam of laser light to deeply penetrate tissue without damaging it. Laser energy induces a biological response in the cells called photo-bio-modulation, which leads to reduced pain, reduced inflammation, and increased healing time.

How It Works

The laser light is delivered through a noninvasive hand piece to treat the affected area. Your pet may feel a gentle and soothing warmth. Most treatments take a matter of minutes.

Laser therapy has been scientifically proven to be successful in treating post-surgical pain and many acute and chronic conditions. Some acute conditions include: wounds, allergies, infections, cuts/bites, inflammations, tooth extraction pain relief (see our short video on tooth extractions, www.youtube.com/krumvethospital), and post surgical healing.
